Wraparound care

Our highly popular breakfast and teatime wraparound care clubs, based at Sybourn Street for KS1 & 2, for Reception Children at the Perth Road site, both run from Monday to Friday in term time only, provide nutritious breakfasts and healthy snacks to children as well as appropriately supervised fun activities and games. Our wraparound care and clubs are open to all children in full-time education. We give priority to children of working parents and children of families in need.

At our breakfast club children are given cereal, toast and juice (parents need to provide a packed lunch). At our after-school teatime club children are offered a healthy snack around 4pm such as beans on toast or pitta bread with salad and tuna for example. Water is freely available at all times.  There are a number of exciting clubs and opportunities available to pupils, some of which are set out below.

We actively promote independence by encouraging the pupils to prepare their own snacks and to clear away after themselves. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory guidelines. 

Individual dietary requirements and parental preferences are met wherever possible. We recognise the importance of healthy nutrition and this is delivered in a calm, friendly setting. The menu is displayed in the club and is also available on request.

The snacks and drinks we serve are not intended to substitute a main evening meal that the child may receive at home. 

You have the freedom to book for the whole week or odd days whichever suits your requirements.

£14 per week or £2.80 per session

After-school teatime club: Sybourn Street (KS1 & KS2)
3.30pm to 6.30pm
£35 per week or £7 per session

Breakfast club: Perth Road (Reception)
7.45am to 9.05am
£17.50 per week or £3.50 per session

After-school teatime club: Perth Road (Reception)
3.15pm to 6.00pm
£37.50 per week or £7.50 per session

These costs has been subsidised by the primary school to try and keep the cost down for our families.
