Volunteering
We welcome parent and community volunteers at Barclay Primary School to help support and enhance the education of our pupils.

Our school programme relies on the support of volunteers to help in a range of ways such as with educational visits, organising events (Parent School Association – PSA) and in class.

New volunteering positions begin at the start of each term, when we conduct a comprehensive induction programme to ensure you are ready to begin your voluntary position.

If you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis, please contact the school office for a request form. You will also be required to complete a List 99 to offer support in the classroom.

To help on school trips, please speak to your child’s class teacher.

Every parent with children at the school automatically becomes a member of the PSA, which aim to support teachers in their role of providing a stimulating environment that enhances learning by fundraising and organising community events. To become involved with events, email school@sybournprimary.net
