Nursery and Reception places available

Sybourn Early Years Excellence Centre

We aim to provide the highest-quality care and education for all our children in our nursery, thereby giving them a strong foundation for their future learning. We create a safe and happy environment with motivating and enjoyable learning experiences that enable children to become confident and independent. We value the individual child and work alongside parents/carers and others to meet their needs and help every child to reach their full potential.

We plan an exciting and challenging curriculum based on our observations of children’s needs, interests, and stages of development across the seven areas of learning, to enable the children to achieve and exceed the early learning goals.

Children benefit from our excellent outdoor provision which they can access in all weathers. We are lucky to have a large outdoor play area with large trees and grounds, and plenty of space for children to develop their gross motor skills.

We understand the needs of working parents so we offer a variety of nursery options including full or part time day care as well as sessional nursery sessions.

We have two nursery’s available for parents to choose from. The school nursery offers parents the free early years entitlement of either four mornings or four afternoons plus one full day. Morning sessions run from 9.05-11.35am and afternoon sessions run from 12.45pm-3.15pm.  The daycare building also offers the free fifteen hours early years entitlement for three year olds and also for two year olds who meet the qualifying criteria. These sessions are run three hours per day either 845am-11.45am or 12.45pm-3.45pm.
We also offer the free 30 hour childcare for qualifying parents who work.

In addition to the free government places we also offer full or part time daycare. The daycare is open from 8am-6pm 48 weeks per year. For more information on our fees please click here.
